The 2023 Sir and Lady Andrew Theresa Ojiaku-Okeke Foundation (SLATOF) EMPOWERMENT is currently holding a two day FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH AND FOOD DISTRIBUTION to people inline with the foundations mission.
The event started yesterday Friday 15th September 2023 at St. James Anglican Church Akata, Oru East LGA. Imo State, Nigeria.
People came out en masse for the program and are being attended to by team of medical personnels, this team is also supported by well organized committee set up by the organization to help see to the success of the event.
The joy has been massive as the beneficiaries expressed gratitude and thanks to God for this wonderful opportunity as many interviewed said they've been sick for long but hadn't access to medical treatment due to lack of money.
Food items was items was given also to help them feed during the period of medication, there was also cooked food and light refreshments for all that came to the event.
